RECREATIONAL COACH TRAINING
JBSC and FYSA are hosting three youth modules this weekend. As FYSA moves ahead with its Academy approach to Soccer instruction, our club is required to module and license all of our coaches from the u6 through u12 division for recreational play.
Kudos to the JBSC Coaches for their enthusiasm in broadening their expertise to benefit our recreation players which will help take our club to the next level!
Please contact Alan Lake, Director of Coaching for more information. We are looking forward to another successful season of soccer this fall! Thank you for your support! |

MOM's SOCCER Please stay tuned - and patient - for updates. The start of Mom's Soccer has been delayed. We're simply waiting on confirmation of insurance coverage before players can be on the field. An email will be sent out as soon as our training can be scheduled! Thank you for your understanding!

FIELD CLOSINGS Tues, 10/7/08 - Martin County Parks & Rec has CLOSED Pineapple Park. Coaches, please inform your players there will be NO PRACTICES THIS EVENING.
We will do our best to make updates here. If we have had rain and you've not heard that fields are closed, please use your best judgment regarding the condition of the fields. If you think they're too soggy, they probably are - err on the side of caution and keep our fields in good playing condition!
LIGHTNING There is a lightning alarm at JBHS in the corner up by the announcer's box in the football stands. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO IT! When lightning is detected, there is one long blast followed by 30 minutes of a flashing white strobe light. Provided no additional lightning is detected, an "all clear" signal of 3 long blasts will let you know it's safe to return to the field. It is the policy of JBSC (and Martin County Parks & Rec) that if the lightning alarm sounds, EVERYONE LEAVES THE FIELD IMMEDIATELY and seeks cover, preferably in a car. No one should return to the field until the "all clear" signal is heard and the strobe is no longer flashing. There are many in this club who have witnessed the tragic effect of a rogue lightning strike. BE SAFE! |
